| I love spring. Well actually I love summer but its close enough. The snow is almost all gone and I only had to wear a sweatshirt today! I'd wear flip flops to but I want a pedicure first. My favorite seasons go as follows. SUMMER, spring, fall, winter. Spring and fall are great because its not to hot and not to cold and I can wear flip flops my favorite shoe ever. | | |
| My post today isn't much of an update but rather a venting. My family and I are very close with our neighbors - way back when my mother became the god mother to their 23 year old daughter (this was before I was born). Well now the family has twin 9 year old sons. This week the father went into the hospital because he had a irregular heartbeat. The weekend before the father and two sons invited my dad to join them to go see the Harlem Globetrotters in a near by city. Well yesterday the wife asked my dad if he would be willing to bring the boys to see the globetrotters - because she didn't want the tickets to go to waste nor did she want her sons to miss it. This is understandable. These two boys were the first kids I ever babysat - nine years ago. For four summers in a row I babysat them every day and even watched them on other school vacations, sometimes even going on trips with the family. Well these kids have never been very well behaved. They do not listen (even worse then the typical kid). Over the past 4 years I've babysat for 5 other families and I have quickly realized that my neighbors kids are the most unbehaved children I've ever met. Well tonight tested my patience. I love kids - they love me. Its a win win. Well I went along tonight to aid my dad in watching after these two. They were fine at first but then during the show I had to keep telling one of them to mind his manners, to sit in his seat, not on the floor. Okay thats not bad. But after the show we went to wendy's. One of them still remained perfectly fine. The other would not eat his food the he asked for, threw a fit because I said no to having a milkshake (it was already 9:30pm), and would not do as he was told. So maybe its only one of them that doesn't listen? I babysit 3 other 9 year olds and they have never done this to me. I started watching these kids please their brothers because they were more behaved. Is a 9 year old still supposed to act like this? I'm really hoping that I'm not over reacting. However even my father said that he was a little ridiculous. | | |
| Aparently its been 1729 days since I joined xanga. I don't have anything fun to post. Going to Kentucky for a week, I leave tonight. I'll post when I get back. | | |
| I'm completely amazing and got in my third car accident today. Completely killed the audi in my eyes. The sides are fine but its torn up in the front and in the back, had it towed home the guy said I was lucky. Thanks I could have told you that. Basically I was in a line of cars passing a snow plow was getting back in the right lane and hit the slush in the middle of the left lane and it sucked me in. Ended up behind a guardrail. And no one...NO ONE would stop, hello I'm on the side of the interstate you can't stop to help? 2 hours later I'm home, sore, and missed class. This is the worst day ever. | | |
| Hello wonderful world of xanga! I can't remember if I wrote that I moved home from Kentucky. I loved it there. However, my brain apparently couldn't function with so much stress, drama, etc. My friends have always called me the mom of the group. Without trying to I end up taking care of them. My emotions get entangled with theirs. With all of that I didn't have time to worry about school. And then there is the fact that growing up I always said that I'd never drink because of what I was put through when I was younger. However, I didn't stay true to my promise and starting drinking. Plus my roomate and I who originally got along perfectly started fighting about everything. So long story short I moved back home to New Hampshire, I'm going to the local community college until I transfer to another four year school closer to home. What have I been up to lately? Nothing at all because almost all of my friends are people I went to school with in Kentucky. However, I did splurg and purchase a plane ticket for spring break, I'm going to Kentucky to visit my friends. Lame I know - but when you miss your friends this much you have to do something. My real reason for updating though was to ask a question. As most of you know I don't speak with much of my fathers side of the family anymore. My step mothers, brother has kids up here 2 of which I used to be closed to. Well one of his sons and his girlfriend are pregnant. She and I were 'friends' in high school, the type of friends that don't see each other out of the school. I'm invited to the baby shower. I don't know if I should go or not? I mean the father is on the side of the family that I don't even talk to anymore. And she and I were never that close. What do I do? | | |
